So, I’m writing about not knowing what to write. Blogging is tough when you are as un-creative as I am. It’s bitter cold outside, and it’s now March. I could write about how unfair mother nature is! I could also write about how desperately bad I want to go camping and fishing, but that kind of goes along the same lines as mother nature being unfair to us.
The butter bear is back, that’s exciting. I guess I could drown myself in endless butter bears (carmel and butterscotch topped with crushed toffee) until it warms up.
How about our loyal customers. Maybe this week I will do another loyalist profile. Last time we did Suzie and Chuck, this time we will do Neal, Harvey, or Brandy and Randy. Stay tuned on that one.
Our employees are also wonderful!! The twins are known city wide, Elizabeth (ED) makes sure everyone knows that our stomachs will throw parties for us when they drink our coffee. Aaron is our handyman, without him I would be broke. Rachel and Allison are just plain crazy. Nikki, ”don’t call me rachel” is our sound mind of the store. Andrea is our resident partier. If you need a new drink concoction for the weekend, she’s the one to consult. The newbies, Trevor, Rocci, and Jazzy have yet to influence us enough to label them. If I had to pick something for them, Rocci would be the company fashion consultant, Trevor would be the employee who helps the others with their homework, and Jazzy would be the one who ends up having a career in politics. Chris from “New Tribes” is a closet nomad. I can see him one day thraveling the world with no cares on his mind. Sammie Pants may some day run this shop. Denise (the wife) is the stickler. Without her, nobody would follow the rules and for that I am very thankful.
OK, So the blog entry that started with the title “Writers Block” turned out to be the longest one yet.
Thanks for reading.
